The best laid plan......

Well the plan was to drop Sharon, George and Claudia off at a childrens party at 11:00am, drive home then set off for a short run. In reality what happened was the family Gardner were running a bit late, at 11:15 Sharon told me about the leaking radiator in the bathroom and the broken cistern in the toilet. Unfortunately the leak was worse than I thought and the large wok catching the water was filling up quickly. So I dropped Sharon & co off at 11:50, went to Homebase to buy various plumbing bits and bobs, light bulbs and batteries, got home at 12:35. I then spent an hour fixing the radiator, 20 minutes changing various lightbulbs, realising I was hungry and eating spaghetti hoops then spending 30 minutes unsuccessfully working on the broken cistern. Then it was time to pick Sharon and the kids up, there goes my run
